In both cases, the coach helps to boost self-esteem, give suggestions on setting and achieving goals, and improve efficiency with regard to the goals you set.

Executive coaching may help your career, but it isn't a guarantee to a promotion or raise. The purpose of seeking an executive coaches is to better yourself inside and out. If you are having concerns about your ability to complete tasks or you are just confused as to what your job entails, executive coaching can greatly help you.

Many times, a workplace will implement an executive coach from outside the office, or assign the hr manager the job of acting as the coach. With outside executive coaching, you are almost always guaranteed a neutral point of view. The problem with using inside sources is that the coach isn't always objective and unbiased.
